And I'm not? Cut the bullying crap, you obviously have some kind of personal issue with any kind of gender-bending.
It's not your bathroom. You don't own it, you don't have any real say in who gets to use it. Just like you don't own your daughter and don't have the right to beat anyone up on her behalf for any perceived slight. If I ever hypothetically made another woman genuinely uncomfortable in a restroom, chances are I'd remove myself from the situation at least until she had left, that's a concession I'd make to *her*, not you. The discussion came up at my university a while back and the most telling thing was that the only people who took issue with trans people using appropriate loos were men, I wonder why that is.
Do you really actually think that's why we do it just to perv on women in the restroom? Do you have any idea what we go through to be who we are?
Why are you scared by us? Why do we make you uneasy in yourself enough that you lash out with lame insults, make threats and refuse to acknowledge this girl's gender? I've got news for you, we walk among you, you don't often see us, but we do and we've been progressively gaining more and more rights. There's no place for attitudes like yours in the world today, as you can see your views are not popular in this thread and it's not because everyone who disagrees with you is trans themselves.
As long as my daughter is in there, I will have a say who goes in the bathroom. my daughter isn't a woman yet, she is a girl, and I will do whatever it takes to protect her. Like it or not, I think gender bending is wrong, and people like you will not be in the bathroom with her. When she is finished, it is all yours.
my views may not be popular in this thread, and I expected the regular insults that you libs dish out to people that disagree with you. If your afraid of dissenting opinions, then you need to stay on some of those forums that will always agree with you, and will nurture you, and your life style.

How about the expression, "A rising tide lifts all boats."
All boats except Symbian (it's too huge a s[t]inking ship to be lifted by any tide) and Windows Phone 7 ( they made a paper boat in the hope of getting lifted but sadly it looks like the tide is too big for it to ride)

The Dollar's largest losses have come as a result of the previous 3 rate cuts.
Nope. You might want to have another look at the evidence:
http://finance.yahoo.com/charts#chart6:symbol=eurusd=x;range=2y;indicator=split+volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;logscale=o n;source=undefined
You can easily see that the euro has been steadily gaining strength against the dollar for at least two years.
The budget the President submits, and what Congress approves, are not the same, after pork-barrel spending is added in.
Not really. Congress has to pass a budget that the president will sign.
I'm not quite sure you have a grasp of the markets...
Uh, right...

I want an iPod that can read my mind...I'll bet Apple could do it
Well, mine almost do it...
:D :D
But seriously, I'm not sold to that idea. Most of the time, my pod is in my bag and I became pretty good at changing songs without taking it out.
Anyway, with this idea, I guess that I would HAVE to take it out to skip songs... without touching the unit...

I'm honestly not too surprised. On one hand, Apple keeps pushing the iPod Touch as a great little portable gaming system (so kids are getting them left and right), yet on the other, they make it a big pain to prevent a kid from purchasing unwanted software on it.
I know first-hand, because my g/f used to work for Apple, and got refurbished iPod Touches for both of her young kids, after they were constantly borrowing her iPhone. My own daughter got a refurbished Touch last Xmas as well.
I thought I'd be slick and create a whole new iTunes account for my kid that wasn't linked to any credit/debit card at all. That way, she can only purchase FREE apps unless I pre-load her account with some money from a gift-card first. (My g/f didn't do this, and her 3 year old started buying herself quite a few games one day! Until then, she just assumed said 3 year old wouldn't even be capable of navigating the App Store on her own and doing it!)
But then I realized all the little games we bought and put on my iPhone a long time ago were not going to be transferable to her iPod Touch without re-purchasing them. No way I was going to re-buy them, and she was getting all upset she had stuff on my phone that wasn't on her Touch. So I wound up redoing her Touch so it shared MY iTunes account. Not happy about that though, and sure enough, despite my warnings, she bought about $10 in software one time!
Apple really needs to re-think the way this stuff works. I'd be all for something like Android's store apparently does where you can request a refund for anything you download within the first 24 hours.... but frankly, some people will still abuse that too. (They'll start using it as a "free rental" service, grabbing things for a day and then requesting refunds.) So maybe a setup where you can refund apps up to 24 hours later up to the first X number of times, and then the account reverts to only giving refunds within the first hour or 30 minutes?
haha, this makes it onto MR?
My little cousin purchased $2,820.75 from the app store on an iPod Touch. And Apple wasn't going to refund any of it until a transcript from an internal chat was somehow included in a email to my Aunt that consisted of very rude talk behind her back.
I have the emails, but my aunt and uncle aren't finished with the fiasco with Apple's legal team, so I can't show them.

What's with all the developers that won't do Universal Apps?
If you're supporting both platforms anyway, it's actually far less code, and less testing to just do a Universal App. (I know, I've done two of them so far.)

Redesign that quick? But than again, a delay till September might be the reason. Who know, sure looks bad ass though.
well lets consider the long list of bad press and problems in the iPhone 4 design. For example the your holding it wrong and piss poor lay out of the antenna. Glass back breaking all the time. I think they wanted to get off that before it got really out of hand. Might as well end it while they have the chance. Also could be the hardware update was going to be well pretty limited so they make the outside chance so people jump to buy a new one. They know Apple fanboys like to show off they have the lastest and greatest so they make it impossible for them to make it look like the could at a glance (for example 3G and 3GS. Unless you saw the back you could never tell)
There is no way it could be that thin.
It could be. The curved edges give it an optical illusion to look thinner than it really is. It is a cheating trick
I hope it's not drastically thinner and lighter. The 4 at the minute is just right, nice to hold feels right.
Maybe It's just my man handling sausage fingers but I wouldn't like to see it similar to the iPod touch.
Yeah there is a limit before you become too small. At a certain point you just can not make it any thinner and lighter and still have it conformable to use.
The iPhone 4 had just the right thickness. Tapering everything to a weak point is bad engineering.
And when has Apple followed good engineering design. They rather look pretty than listen to their engineers and tell them to deal with it. I believe their are multiple reports of Apple own engineers speaking out saying they told them that the design of the iPhone 4 Antenna was bad idea but instead they were told to deal with it and do it. Nothing the engineers could do about it. Apple choose to make their phones look pretty instead of function. Apple is a Form over function company.
Looks top-heavy and tough to hold. Not going to happen.
Top heavy is not really a big issue with something that small and light.

Great game so far, who ever said I'll have loads of issues gaming on a PS3 must be dreaming and should probably get an upgrade from a dial-up speed Internet..
Everyone has to bash PSN because its free, only problem I have with that game is people playing CTF for kills...camping with the flag. NFS: Hot Pursuit is a good game, just got it monday and so far I like it, a lot better than GT5

I think iMac overhaul is in the fall right after the back to school deals are over......
Oh I would think that new computers would be a perfect fit in to back to school deals no? That is if the refresh not happening in the summer

Personally I could care less about the graphics downgrade if the MBA gets sandy bridge. It is slightly disappointing at face value to downgrade anywhere with a new generation of machine, but I can live with not being able to do any gaming on this thing if it is excellent at everything else. i5 or i7 CPU combined with 512 GB of storage would be frickin' amazing. Throw in an anti-glare display and a backlit keyboard and I would just about roll over and die.

Am i the only person who is relieved that the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 aren't coming out anytime soon? I feel like i've lucked out buying an iPhone that isn't revised in a year of me buying it! I would be devastated if an iPad 3 came out in september, i don't like being constantly last generation. Plus the IP4 and iPad2 are pretty great as they are
lol If you think about what you just said, there really shouldn't be a reason to dislike being "last generation" if you are happy with how they are now. It's a stigma that almost everyone has when it comes to not having the newest thing but honestly people should realize that, if they think what they have is good already, something new being released doesn't actually lessen the quality of what you already had. But with that being said, getting an older one that is so close to the release of the next one is a bit more understandable because of the proximity, but regardless, if you're happy with it then it's good

Why? When leopard comes out it can handle 32-bit and 64-bit apps so why would they not give there customers the choice?

Imagine the iPhone 4 sitting in the 3GS position a year from now. It will be amazing you can get a phone like that for the price it will be available for...
The current 3GS with the cheapest plan you can get from AT&T would cost you 90% of what the same plan and a 4 would cost you.
Not sure what's amazing about that, and I'm pretty sure that when the 5 is out, the 4 will end up costing roughly the same.
Hardly amazing.
Unless you're math challenged.
Which anyone would be anyone who would consider such a deal for 3GS now or for a 4 when 5 is out.
Considering the number of 3GS still being sold, there's a lot of math challenged iOS users out there.

I think Apple Marketing thinks they're slick with their blatant patent advertising/marketing to create buzz on potential new products. I think its fairly lame.
How is getting people in Blogs to react to something "LAME"?
I love the fact that Apple gets the world excited about new products that are coming in the future (or not coming). I love the idea of being kept in the dark until the release date. I love checking back on this site and other sites to see what the predictions are. I even love it when there is a slight let down because what I thought was coming, didn't make it.
APPLE doesn't have much in a choice about keeping patents secret. We (the over-curious consumers) are the ones making all the hype for them.
I don't see Steve Jobs thinking, "YES... now all we need to do is up our advertising by coming out with a new PATENT!!!"
That is rediculous. Sure, he knows there are losers out there that have nothing better to do than sit in their home and research stuff like that so they can be the first ones to post it in their blog, but I doubt they sit around and think about how this helps advertising.
If nothing else, I would think they do not want these patents to be talked about because they want consumers to purchase the products that are out now, not WAIT AROUND for the better product to come out. LOOK at powermac sales as they switched to intel. The average consumer doesn't look at this sight, they just go to BEST BUY and see what item cost the least amount of money.
I think after this CREATIVE lawsuit and countersuit mess, they are just making sure they have everything covered if they are going to stay on top.
"BLATANT PATENT ADVERTISING" - it's like saying a woman that is 9 months pregnant is BLATANTLY ADVERTISING she is about to have a baby.
Anybody that is paying attention is going to notice!
Other than that... I agree with everything you said.
