Don't panic

i am going to change vote as well, since UCF has become active and has only one vote, so it would be kinda pointless.
i'll go with Nies
if we exclude the unbolded votes (aggie and eldiablo), it is
plutonius 3 (nies, jav, ucfgrad)
nies 3 (plutonius, appleguy, don't panic)
eldiablo 2(3) (nathan, moyank)
ibro 1 (chrmjenkins)
chrmjenkins 1 (ibro)
nathanmuir 1 (eldiablo)
with plutonius holding the tie breaker
if those 2 votes get validated, it is still plutonius with 4, followed by nies and eldiablo with 3

... try bringing a white MacBook ... into a corporate office meeting...
I brought my wife's white MB into work last week to test out our webapps on a Mac (because the cheap b'staards won't even pay $600 for the cheapest Mini) and I got a lot of interest from the rest of the developers ("What? They got you a Mac? How'd you manage that?) - 95% of whom are males in their 20s and 30s.

Is it possible that they would make a phone that would cover both AT&T's and T-Mobile's bands? AT&T could really combat the coverage problems they've had on the west coast with that, correct?

Sad thing is the developer is now going to be charged $300 (Apple requires the developer to reimburse the user Apple's commission).
I think that in case of accidental/erroneous purchases, this is not true.
If it was, that would be so awful that I wonder why no investigation has been aimed at this practice before.

Where is Oliver Stone when you need him?
I'm sure he'll solve this conspiracy.
I'm absolutely certain the white iPhone was involved in the JFK thing. :D
And nobody has yet to actually measure the phones!
I'm sure Oliver Stone will find the Super 8 video to solve this crime! LOL

If I ruled the world the person / people doing the beating would get a mandatory minimum 5 years in jail. The prison population would go up short term but the message would get across eventually. No getting out early for good behaviour either.

I do, and so does anyone who has a classic environment of System 7 and earlier for classic compatibility reasons.
Of course, and I meant that in the 'general sense'. I have long since abandoned the use of Classic on any of my OS X Macs or any of the Macs I support. AppleTalk is so deprecated that I can hardly believe that anyone will be able to use it much longer. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if it was completely absent from 10.5.
As for the AFP needing AppleTalk, I'm glad you linked the correction. As AppleTalk was an Apple prorietary networking protocol and more and more places were dropping support for AppleTalk routing between subnets/routers (it is PROHIBITIVELY expensive for routers that will pass AT traffic) AFP moved to AFPoverTCP.
I do, and so does anyone who has a classic environment of System 7 and earlier for classic compatibility reasons.
Which makes it even MORE odd that it's enabled by default in MacTels, which don't run Classic.

HTC sensation > iphone 5
That is all
Enjoy the version of Android that comes on that thing out of the box. With all the HTC bloatware and Android fragmentation you'll be lucky to ever see a software update.

In response to the ebay comment, why are they seemingly so dumb? I wanted to buy a new canon lens recently and i always buy my photography equipment from B&H (probably the most reputable place on the planet) but first i looked on ebay to see if i could get a used one for a lot less. None of the auctions went for significantly less than new at B&H (especially when you factor in shipping) and at least one auction ended of about $30 more than retail. I dont get it! Don't people do ANY research?
nope

Really? I took the cue from the post count and not page count. I was under the impression that graphic-heavy threads are closed after about 2000 posts.
Yep...... 2000 posts is typically the cue to start a new thread.
Since it's 5:11am here, I don't have a new purchase to post.:p

P.s. if you have battery issues, it is not because of ios update..it is from your settings because when you restore to your phone the settings are also restored...so the problem remains...try to kill ping with restrictions...also try to recreate your email accounts...push to off...notifications also off...
Also try ipod settings eq off...and i have specified my carrier...its not automatic
interesting suggestion to try reseting all of the email accounts. i'm going to try this. i have been contemplating doing a full clean install to help this battery issue, but i don't like the thought of losing things like all of my text messages and other histories/settings.

Hope he is doing well.
He's doing very well. If you're interested in all of the details, we did setup a Caring Bridge page (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/blakerebelein) for him.

Yes, Apple tricks everyone into loving them. That's what is happening; it couldn't be their focus on creating products that people love. Nope.
Were you happy when Exxon was making record profits quarter after quarter? Did you go post about it on an oil forum? Did you laugh when they were spanking Shell? As a consumer, not as an investor.

Is anyone else bothered by the button to buy more batteries?
Yes, it seems like a Microsoft thing.
It's actually a very Apple thing to do. Apple has always been about making a totally integrated, complete end-to-end computing environment and Apple has also always been dedicated to transforming things that had been difficult for non-techies to do into some so simple and effective that even advanced technical users decide it's the best method. This is probably not the first time an option to buy hardware has been built into software, but just like Time Machine is revolutionary because it's the first SIMPLE file-by-file backup system and not because it's the first backup system ever, so too this "Buy Battery" button is revolutionary because of how simple and integrated it is.
I'm hardly an Apple apologist, I complain quite loudly when they do things that are lame. But I think this is a very Apple thing to do and a feature that isn't just a built in advertisement. If I had an OS X button to buy a new battery when I wanted one, rather than tracking down the battery model number I needed and having to worry about who to buy from and bothering with technical details, I'd definitely appreciate being able to just click that button.
Making the entire computer experience simple, easy and fun is what Apple has always been about, and this is a natural continuation of those ideals. In fact, I hope they expand this functionality to include upgrading ram and hard disks (as long as they don't go overboard with the prices like in the b.t.o. options at the apple store).
Really this is a wonderful new breakthrough in Apple's quest for computing easiness.

This new service sounds pretty poor tbh. I probably wouldn't use it even if it was free.
Main reason being the places I wish I had a certain album with me tend to get hardly any phone signal anyways, let alone a 3g connection fast enough to stream music. Also the charges for going over your data limit are hilariously high. Stream a movie or two, a couple of albums and a tv show and my data is done for the month?
Also I think cloud storage is great as part of a back-up solution for my professional work, though I feel it is kind of lackluster for consumer use. Sure the tech-savvy elite may have some use for it. Sure its nice to know some of your precious documents, photos are somewhere safe if the worst happens.
