Try an IBM Thinkpad... in reviews, they often mention the quality of the keyboard, and having had one for a while, I would agree.

Yes, I have firsthand experience with a Thinkpad, my dad has got one. The keyboard is indeed very nice, but I think the PB's has a slight edge on it. I think the origional poster is asking for a normal keyboard, not a laptop with a good keyboard.

Hello all....this is my first post this to this forum as I am a new Mac user. Great site...
Anyway, I recently purchased a 12"Powerbook...which rocks by the way....Can anyone recommend a great wireless router? I was going to invest in the Airport Extreme for the compatibility however the reviews I have read say this isn't the best router out there for the $$$$.
Any suggestions?

Single player. Gameplay aside, I'm a huge fan of a good story. Games, books, films. Multiplayer stories just seem non-existent.

Paying $30 to protect a $99 product? That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Please, the shuffles are made of impact-resistant plastic and solid state memory. And it has no screen!
Imagine paying $9,000 for a weather cover for your $30,000 car.
If you want to protect the shuffle from scratches, a 1 cent piece of saran wrap will do the job probably more efficiently.

Pages isn't the best for Word Processing. I'll either use TextEdit or Word. I think that it's nearly impossible for Apple to compete with the MS Office Suite. Kudos to them for trying and if they succeed with it for the Mac Market, then good for them. Still, I'll get Office 2007 as soon as it comes out and use that.

Top-line iMac or base-line Mac Pro?
Hey guys, I'm a video editor that works mostly with RED footage in Final Cut Pro and After Effects. I'm also a gamer running Bootcamp and Steam. I'm currently working on a 3 year old Macbook Pro and looking to upgrade by the end of the year. Here are my choices, I'm wondering if a new top of the line iMac will outperform the current base model of the Mac Pros for gaming and video work... or if the Mac Pro is the way to go.

3.4ghz Quad-Core i7
2TB Serial ATA HD
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB
$2,304 (Student)
Mac Pro
2.8ghz Quad-Core Xeon "Nehalem"
2TB 7200 RPM HD

The trouble was a freakin idiot designed my PC; it wasn�t helping me steal nuclear warheads so I could hold the world to ransom.
My PC kept getting errors and it crashed so much, I could never complete my plans on properly. This would make Mr Bigglesworth upset. Meow!
Yeah, and when Mr Bigglesworth got upset I got angry, I had the PC staff at my local store li-qui-dated, yeah, huh-uh!
That�s when I got my Mac, that�s when I could finally take over the world, it was so easy. My plans were made so simple.
My �lasers� would fire, �The Alan Parsons Project� actually worked.
With the software included with my Mac I could easily organise my iLife with my evil henchmen, instantly my Number 2 knew who he worked for.
It was so easy and I didn�t need to spend billions of dollars either.

Bought it or built it myself. A man has to have a hobby. ;) I fold with Team MacOS X. Calling all Mac folders. Please spread the SMP client news (http://forum.folding-community.org/viewtopic.php?t=16715&highlight=) far and wide. Oh, did I mention it is SPEEDY and worth your time?! Can you say NATIVE?! I thought so. Now GO! :D
