Did anyone install it already?
I've received it 2 days ago but still have the stealth guard on my iPt which is going to be replaced in a week, so I will put the bse on the replacement-device.
Are those bse for a dry installation? I've received them in an envelope without a solution, just like the stealth guards.
No, you're supposed to make your own solution. I think it was a cup of water, and a 1/4 teaspoon of dish soap. Then put it in a spray bottle. This is probably why it's so cheap. It should have instructions on making the solution.

Is there a limit on how many submissions one can do in a given time period?
Last night I submitted five different Ween tracks in a row. The first showed up, but the next one (by me) that posted was a Local H track I put in after the Ween.

I want to give a Mac mini away for a couple of days to someone who would want to play with Mac for the first time. Is there a way to return OS X to a state where you find it straight after fresh OS X installation when Mac needs to be taken through registration process, given name, etc.
I want to install all the accompanying software like iLife'05 and apply all the recent OS and iLife updates and then "reset/deauthorise" OS X so that the new user did not have to install apps and download updates the first thing after powering the Mac up and going online.
If you are familiar with what sysprep does to Windows, that's what I am looking for Mac OS X.
I assume the process should include removing all the user accounts, deleting assigned Mac name and kicking in a registration app at startup.
I just hope one does not need to buy OS X server for that!
I know there's an invisible file called .AppleSetupDone that controls whether or not the setup assistant runs (if it's there, boot normally; if it isn't, run the setup assistant). However, I don't know where it's located, nor can I search for it since I'm not at my Mac right now. Since it's really only a flag file, it's probably VERY small (less than 1 KB).

:mad: The 17" apple studio displays I saw on line - ARE NOT AVAilable. Not at the price they were quoting. So now I have more thinking to do. There are 2 companies that claim they have them in stock but want close to $650!
I have seen quite a few on ebay in the 250 - 300 range. What do you all think of buying a monitor on ebay?

I've been adding articles of products announced at Macworld, but it seems it doesn't work for products with an apostrophe in their name. I added both iLife '06 and iWork '06, but neither of those pages show are world editable, regardless of whether I use "%27" or "'" in the links. Is this fixable arn?

I'm my favourite Mac application developer. :D
Otherwise, I'd have to say Ryan Gordon, Brad Oliver, or The Mozilla Group. They're the best.
I use a lot of applications but I can't say that any of them work particularly well on Mac OS X still. Macromedia and Adobe need to forget their past and make things work.

You're almost making it sound like you're actually planning to lose your phone.
Agreed. If you lose it or someone steals it, then you will have to replace it which will be pretty expensive.

I see you got FCP in your sig, i use Premiere CS5 and Photoshop you suggest the drobo would be good stuff like that? I have checked out the drobo before, they do look good. I just need something i can remote into and control when im away kick off downloads etc...as the server will be headless (no monitor)
The regular Drobo was too slow for HD video editing, but the Drobo S works great. It is not necessary as fast as a RAID-0, but I have had no slow downs or stuttering in FCP with the Drobo S.

I only had a few minutes this morning to look at this but I believe the main problem is your not calling the "mail" command. You have this line but it's not doing anything as it's just a variable...
$success = mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
If you just use this it should work...
mail($webMaster, $emailSubject, $body, $headers);
You may have other things to work out but this should send the email massage and you should be able to retrieve it at info@avenue19ni.com.
Just saying, this advice is incorrect. The first version was simply capturing the return value from the function. The second is discarding the return value. Both are calling the function.

Aladdin Systems, maker of StuffIt , one of the most-used Mac applications ever, changed its name to Allume Systems last month.
The long-standing www.aladdinsys.com web site is now redirected to www.allume.com. They still have the magic lamp logo and refer to themselves on the web and in e-mail as "Allume Systems (formerly Aladdin Systems)".
They changed in order to settle legal disagreements with Aladdin Knowledge Systems (www.ealaddin.com (http://www.ealaddin.com/) or www.aladdin.de ( http://www.aladdin.de/)), maker of dongles and other security products. I happen to use products of both companies, and I sometimes went to one web site when I meant the other. There was probably longstanding confusion between the companies (and maybe also with Aladdin Enterprises (www.aladdin.com/index2.html (http://www.aladdin.com/index2.html)), the original maker of Ghostscript).
Aladdin Systems must have had little choice but to make this change, because they are sacrificing a huge amount of name recognition.
I wonder why they picked "Allume" as their new name. And why not call themselves StuffIt after their most famous product, since they already have www.stuffit.com (http://www.stuffit.com/)?
